Mr. Javier Valenzuela

BASED IN ATLANTA, USA

Born in Mexico City, Mr. Valenzuela holds a BS in Business Administration from the Anahuac University and a Master’s degree in School Counseling from the University of Wisconsin. He has worked as a High School Catholic Formation teacher at the Cumbres Institute in Mexico. After 5 years working in the financial sector, he arrived to Oaklawn Academy in Edgerton, Wisconsin in 1998 where he served as principal for almost 17 years. In August 2015, he was appointed as the Executive Director of Oak International Academies. He enjoys music as well as playing and watching soccer. Mr. Valenzuela lives in Atlanta Georgia with his wife and two children.

 

Michelle Reiff

Michelle Reiff has been a consecrated woman of Regnum Christi for over 20 years. She currently serves as a member of the national council for the consecrated women and the Regnum Christi Territorial Committee and director of the Queen of the Family Retreat Center. She has been a member of the Everest Board of Directors since 2014.

Michelle Reiff grew up in Carroll, Iowa. After graduating from high school, she attended the University of South Dakota where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology.  Michelle then worked in Omaha, Nebraska for ten years in hospital laboratories and an oncology practice before consecrating her life to God in the Regnum Christi Movement in August, 1996.  She went on to earn a Master’s degree in Catholic School Administration from the University of Dallas, and has a License in Religious Studies from the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum in Rome.

Michelle’s past assignments have included being director of the 3000-student Cumbres Girls’ School in Santiago, Chile for over three years and then serving in various roles for ten years at the Highlands School in Dallas, including principal, formation director, and a member of the board of trustees.  Since 2014, she has been the director of the community of Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi in Oxford, Michigan.

 

Miss Cristy Villaseñor, Directress Overbrook Academy

Cristina Villasenor was born in Guadalajara, Jailsco, Mexico.  She studied in Alpes Bugambilias school in Guadalajara as well as Woodlands Academy, Ireland.  In 1998 she consecrated her life to God in the Regnum Christi Movement. She has a degree in Education and Development from Anahuac University in Mexico. She has 18 years of experience working with adolescents, working in schools and missions in Sorocaba, Brazil, Mexico City, El Salvador and Guatemala. Throughout these years. she has directed various summer camps, volunteer programs, formation courses, as well as dedicating much of her time to personal accompaniment of each of her students. Since 2011 she has lived at Overbrook Academy, Rhode Island. She has served as an instructor of formation and director of the community of consecrated women who carry out their mission in the academy. During the summer of 2014, she directed the Overbrook summer camp as well as the role of formation director of the academy. During this time, Cristina worked closely with the director of the academy to ensure that every student received personalized, integral formation. From July 2016 to July 2019, she was the Director of Overbrook Academy.

Armando Badillo Based in Monterrey

Graduate of the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Mr. Badillo is currently General Partner at Stella Maris, a venture capital and private equity organization involved in projects in different fields such as Technology, Health, Education, Food services, etc. From 1998 to 2012 Mr. Badillo worked for the Legion and Regnum Christi movement in several capacities; he was Vice President of Boarding services overseeing all Oak International Academies, he was also Vice President of Construction Management. Mr. Badillo was founding partner and CEO of Aula24Horas, a company dedicated to use technology to provide resources and services for the school community: students, parents, teachers and administrators. He is also a proud parent of an Overbrook student this year!

 

Fr. Frank Formolo, L.C.

Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In 1990 he began his studies with the Legionaries of Christ. From 1993-95, he served as Administrator of Dublin Oak Academy and the Novitiate of the Legionaries of Christ in Dublin Ireland. From 1995-96, served as Administrator of the Community in Washington, DC, and obtained his License in Philosophy in 2000. 2000-03, studied Theology from Regina Apostolorum in Rome. Fr. Frank Formolo, LC was ordained a priest in 2003. He worked in Promotion and Chaplaincy at two Legionary schools in Texas from 2003-07, and served as Vice Rector and Administrator of the Community in Dallas and Center of Formation in Thornwood, New York. 2012-16 he served as Superior and Administrator of the Edgerton Legionary Community, and from 2015-16, Vice Rector of the Sacred Heart Apostolic School, Rolling Prairie. He is currently pursuing an Executive Master’s Degree in Nonprofit Administration at the University of Notre Dame as well as beginning new role as Territorial Administrator for the Legionaries of Christ in North America.

 

Miss Kristina Piñero, Principal, CECVAC School

Kristina has been a Consecrated woman in Regnum Christi for 23 years.  She has studies in Business Administration, a degree in Development and Education as well as Religious Sciences. She is in the process of obtaining her Master’s degree in Pastoral Studies.  Over the years, she has worked in Italy, Spain United States, Israel and Mexico. She was the Director on Overbrook Academy for nine years.  Currently, she is the Principal at CECVAC School in Monterrey.

 

 

Miss Guadalupe Prince, Directress Everest Academy

Guadalupe Prince was born in Mexico City.  She entered with the Legionaries of Christ and the Regnum Christi Movement in 1974 and in 1975 became part of the newly founded ECYD teams in Mexico City. After high school, she studied abroad in France where she majored in French.  In 1979, after studying abroad, she became consecrated and has spent most of her life working in schools, in different capacities as a Dean of Discipline, Vice Principal and has dedicated herself to the personal accompaniment of students.  She has a degree in Education and Development from Anahuac University in Mexico and in in the process of obtaining her Master’s degree in Humanities.  Guadalupe has directed ECYD and Regnum Christi sections in France and Mexico. 1986 to 1991, she worked for five years at Overbrook Academy. She has worked with the RC Missionaries, a program for RC members who give a year of their lives to work apostolically within Regnum Christi, in their formation programs and accompanying them during their year of apostolate.  She has also directed a community of consecrated women in Mexico City and was part of the Territorial council in Mexico for the last three years.  As of the summer of 2016, Guadalupe is the Director of Everest Academy.
