Overbrook Academy, a Catholic, international boarding school for girls in grades 6th through 11th, was founded in the United States in 1985.
Located in scenic New England, Overbrook Academy offers a unique environment to the Oak International pedagogy of integral formation.
To promote the integral development of our students by providing a dynamic, personalized and structured program of spiritual, human, intellectual and apostolic formation. By doing this, we strive to offer our students the knowledge and life skills necessary to become Catholic women leaders who are authentic, motivated and compassionate.
Berenice García was born in León, Guanajuato, México. She lived in the city of Querétaro since she was 9 years old. After finishing high school at Tec de Monterrey, she consecrated her life to God in Regnum Christi.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Education and Development from the Anahuac University of México, as well as another degree in Religious Sciences from the Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum and graduated in September 2019 with an MBA at IPADE Business School.
Her apostolic journey consists of 12 years in Mexico City where the first 8 were as director of youth section and 4 as principal of Instituto Rosedal México.
The past 4 years she has worked in the city of Monterrey, México, where she was assistant director of CECVAC school for one year, and the last 3 in the Irish Institute.
Beginning August 2019, Berenice will be general director of Overbook Academy.
